Hi, dear blogger Bae-family. I am going to try to be here on my blog more often. I feel so bad that I have been neglecting it for so long. I am not going to offer any excuses for my long absence. I am just going to do my best to post more, on my blog. I am starting with a montage album that I had previously shared to our FaceBook fanpage, Our Charming Prince: Bae Yong Joon.

I hope that everyone will enjoy these photo montages. Hugs, family!

Dear Blog Family, I know it has been a long time since I have posted to this blog. So many things have happened since then (Personal illness, among a lot of other things) that I don't really know where to begin to explain about them all. I apologize for my absence, but that is the way life is, sometimes. We each of us get busy with life's ups and downs and before we know it a good bit of time has gone by and things we would have liked to be able to do have been left undone. I know that some of Our Bae-family members have lost loved ones and that others have seen the births of new family members. Some of the family members have died and new members have joined our ranks. Whether the changes have been good or bad, life has still brought them to Our Family. Human beings need to experience changes in life, because change equals growth and without the potential to grow as human beings, we tend to become complacent about our lives and to stop seeking the growth that we need to survive as human beings. "What does all of this have to do with BYJ and the Bae-family?", some may ask. Well, the answer is simple. No matter how much we may grow apart as individuals, we are still bound together by our common interest in and love for Our Yong joon-ssi. Love is the force which stabilizes our lives and allows us to reach out and grow as people while still remaining anchored to the things that we hold as being important in life; family, friends and all our common interests, including our love for one another and for our Prince, Bae Yong Joon. Love and hugs to you all!

What Family Means (Or Should...)

Whenever we think of family, what does that word call to mind? For many people the term means mother, father, brothers, sisters, aunts, uncles, cousins and grandparents.  Others may feel that their friends are more like family than their 'blood' relations. The dictionary has the meaning as people who are blood-related. To me, the word 'family has a much deeper meaning. It encompasses those individuals who care about you, regardless of time and distance; who pray for you and give you moral support, on a regular basis; not just when they see you, but all the time. The ones who see you as you truly are, and love you anyway, despite your faults and failings. Those are real Family. But, still, every human being in the world is supposed to be our 'family'. It's just that most people don't see things that way, and that is a sad statement, regarding the human race. I am so fortunate as to have such a large 'Family' on the internet; especially Facebook, which is made up of my own children, some of my other 'Flesh+Blood' family members, long-time friends, newer friends and the members of the Bae Yong Joon Family of fans. I have a Family which spans the globe, and bridges so many nationalities, and cultures, but which really comes down to one simple thing; the fact that we all love each other... like Family. The great thing is, our BYJ is the one who made my relationship to the Bae Yong Joon 'Family' possible, because he loves all of our Bae-family members the same way; including me. (can the 'old kid' express herself pretty well, or what?) Love to all BYJ Family members; everywhere. Hugs!

I'm Late...

Hello, dear Bae-Family bloggers. I hope everyone in blogger-land has been doing well. I am a few days late with this posting, due to all of the Thanksgiving festivities, not to mention holiday guests staying over with me. I hope all they Bae-sisters who celebrated Thanksgiving had a wonderful time with their families and friends. This has been a year of change for everyone in The BYJ Family. So many of us here on the blogs have connected on Facebook as well. There have been new Family members whom we've 'met' on FB, and a few connections which have been broken, as well. Overall, we have grown even closer, as an internet Family, and learned so many things together. We have shared laughter, smiles, sighs, news, photos, feelings, sorrow and tears. Most of all, we have continued to share our love for Our Prince, BYJ. He is still the foundation on which Our internet family is built. I feel as though we owe him so much, for his kindness, caring, understanding and love. I, personally, am still struggling with my health; trying to get to a point where I can say I really feel healthy, everyday. For now, I must take things one day at a time, in the struggle to regain some of the feelings of well-being which I have found are really so important in life. But, through all of the things that have changed this past year, one thing has not changed and that is all the love which is shared by Our Bae-Family, for each other, and for Our Prince. The point of this posting is that I am trying to do my part to help that love stay strong. I may not always feel like posting here on this blog, but I still will come and post when there is anything so important it must be shared. In this case, I came here and posted just to say that American Bae Fan is now 3-years old, as of November 26, 2012! Thanks, to all of the people, Bae-Family and others, who have kept this blog from being forgotten, by coming here and 'following' ABF and for not giving up on it or me. Lots of hugs, all! (Anna)

Back Again...

Hi, Bae-Family bloggers and blog-readers. Well, it has taken me a longer time than I imagined, to get settled into my 'new' place, but I have finally gotten all my belongings sorted out and organized they way I want them, and I've also gotten wired internet service, so I (hopefully, fingers crossed) won't have any more of the kind of trouble that I had before, with my connection. I hope everyone here on the Bae blogs has been doing well. (I need to try to 'catch up' with all the things that are going on with all my blogger Bae-sisters.)

I don't really know where to begin, to try to take up the threads of my own blog and begin posting here once again, but I am going to try to get back in the 'swing' of all things BYJ. I have missed being here. I always have missed it, whenever I was forced, by circumstances, to be absent from my blog and all the dear blog-sisters. I have missed my dear Bae-sister bloggers, too. I have missed all the updates on Our Prince's latest activities, and the clever writing styles of the different blogger sisters who post them. I have missed the close-ness of commenting back and forth with all those nice ladies. I have missed the moral support which is always given from one sister to another, and shared by all, during the difficulties that each one faced from time to time. To me those things are what have made us a family of bloggers and, more importantly, what have made us Bae-sisters.

I want to thank all the sisters who have visited this blog, in my absence, and subscribed to it, and those who are following it, too. My health has greatly improved. since my last posting here, and I hope to be able to continue to come here, often, and post to this Bae-Family blog. I also want to thank any one else who has visited this blog and may have found it to be interesting. I hope that those people will come back and find that my blog is 'active' again. And, I pray that it will remain active, because of my being able to come here and keep it that way.

I have also started a new blog about healthy eating which is called 'The Diet That Works', where I will be sharing tips about my customized eating plan and recipes for healthy, 'diet' meals. I hope my Bae-sisters here on Blogger will check it out and maybe even leave a comment or two. Now I am going to go and do some 'catching up', here on my Bae-sister's blogs. Until my next posting, please take good care, one and all, and lots of hugs, dears. (Anna)

A Long Time Missing...

Hello, dear Bae-Family. I am not going to try to apologize for not posting to this blog for a very long time, now. I will just say I have had so much going on in my life (moving to a different apartment, trouble with my WiFi internet connection, and personal illness), which has kept me from even visiting American Bae Fan, much less writing any posts here. I have missed being here among the other blogger family members, and reading all the wonderful blog-posts which I know they wrote and posted in my absence. I have been fortunate to be able to stay in touch with many of our Bae-family members on Facebook, from time to time, but even that was limited by the problems which I listed above. I love all Our blogger Family members, and the Bae-Family who read these blogs, very much. I am glad I have a chance to post here once again. I would like to thank all of Our Bae-Family who 'friended' me on Facebook, and who joined the 'Our Charming Prince: Bae Yong Joon' Family/Fan page there: http://www.facebook.com/byj.fans
I am proud to say that the page had gone over the 850 member mark as of the end of July, this year. (That is a good number of members on a fan page which is not even two years old, yet.) Of course, I couldn't have kept Our fan page going without the help of my co-administrator, Bae-sis Chestener Gorden. She is a dear lady who worked on 'OCP:BYJ' alone, during the times when I was too ill to be there. And she has kept things going there, just recently, while I was taking some time off, to visit with my own family. I feel that I owe her so much, but I doubt that she would agree with me about that. Anyway, I am going to try to be here on this blogsite more, and do more things here for our dear Bae-Family members, because I feel as if I have been neglecting a great duty by not coming here and posting things about Our BYJ for the Family to enjoy, and write comments about the things I post. I hope all our dear Bae-Family members understand about the circumstances in our daily lives that can, so often, keep us from doing the sort of things we feel we should be doing for those we love. It's like moving away from our flesh-and-blood family members, and not getting to see them as often as we would like. We love and miss them but we can't always do something about it. Well, I am going to try to do something about this blog of mine, and I want the Bae-family members to feel like this is their blog, too, and to post comments here and enjoy the things I post here, too. I love you, my dear Bae-Family members who have been faithful to visit this blog, and all the other Family members who may one day visit here, too. Thank you all, from the bottom of my heart. And, a special thanks to Our Charming BYJ, for bringing us all together as a Family, in the first place. Hugs, dears!

And A...

My dear BaeFamily, I want to take this time to reflect on this year which has passed by so quickly. I know some of our Family members have lost loved ones, or been unwell (like I have), and I am sorry knowing these things. I also know a few have had family who have gotten married, or had children, and I am glad for them for their times of joy. Some have had family members who left home, or who moved back home. Some have even had family as long term house guests (I have that happening here, now), and some have become re-acquainted with long-lost friends or relatives. With all these changes going on, there are two very important things which haven't changed: the love of our BaeFamily members for each other, and our love for Our Prince, Bae Yong Joon.  In this rapidly changing world, I am glad that some things do stay the same. As an international Family, we all know the importance of staying in touch, giving moral support, love and understanding, to our sisters, our brothers and Our BYJ. It is this kind of love which has created the kinds of bonds we have as the Family of Bae Yong Joon. I would like to thank all of my lovely BaeFamily members for their love and caring this past year, and to wish all of you the very best of all good things in the coming months. Happy New Year, all my dear BaeFamily, all around the world!!! Lots of love, dears! -Anna- (A special thank you, to Arayo, for the lovely calendar photo.)
