Hi, dear blogger Bae-family. I am going to try to be here on my blog more often. I feel so bad that I have been neglecting it for so long. I am not going to offer any excuses for my long absence. I am just going to do my best to post more, on my blog. I am starting with a montage album that I had previously shared to our FaceBook fanpage, Our Charming Prince: Bae Yong Joon.
I hope that everyone will enjoy these photo montages. Hugs, family!

Dear Blog Family, I know it has been a long time since I have posted to this blog. So many things have happened since then (Personal illness, among a lot of other things) that I don't really know where to begin to explain about them all. I apologize for my absence, but that is the way life is, sometimes. We each of us get busy with life's ups and downs and before we know it a good bit of time has gone by and things we would have liked to be able to do have been left undone. I know that some of Our Bae-family members have lost loved ones and that others have seen the births of new family members. Some of the family members have died and new members have joined our ranks. Whether the changes have been good or bad, life has still brought them to Our Family. Human beings need to experience changes in life, because change equals growth and without the potential to grow as human beings, we tend to become complacent about our lives and to stop seeking the growth that we need to survive as human beings. "What does all of this have to do with BYJ and the Bae-family?", some may ask. Well, the answer is simple. No matter how much we may grow apart as individuals, we are still bound together by our common interest in and love for Our Yong joon-ssi. Love is the force which stabilizes our lives and allows us to reach out and grow as people while still remaining anchored to the things that we hold as being important in life; family, friends and all our common interests, including our love for one another and for our Prince, Bae Yong Joon. Love and hugs to you all!

Back Again...
Hi, Bae-Family bloggers and blog-readers. Well, it has taken me a longer time than I imagined, to get settled into my 'new' place, but I have finally gotten all my belongings sorted out and organized they way I want them, and I've also gotten wired internet service, so I (hopefully, fingers crossed) won't have any more of the kind of trouble that I had before, with my connection. I hope everyone here on the Bae blogs has been doing well. (I need to try to 'catch up' with all the things that are going on with all my blogger Bae-sisters.)
I don't really know where to begin, to try to take up the threads of my own blog and begin posting here once again, but I am going to try to get back in the 'swing' of all things BYJ. I have missed being here. I always have missed it, whenever I was forced, by circumstances, to be absent from my blog and all the dear blog-sisters. I have missed my dear Bae-sister bloggers, too. I have missed all the updates on Our Prince's latest activities, and the clever writing styles of the different blogger sisters who post them. I have missed the close-ness of commenting back and forth with all those nice ladies. I have missed the moral support which is always given from one sister to another, and shared by all, during the difficulties that each one faced from time to time. To me those things are what have made us a family of bloggers and, more importantly, what have made us Bae-sisters.
I want to thank all the sisters who have visited this blog, in my absence, and subscribed to it, and those who are following it, too. My health has greatly improved. since my last posting here, and I hope to be able to continue to come here, often, and post to this Bae-Family blog. I also want to thank any one else who has visited this blog and may have found it to be interesting. I hope that those people will come back and find that my blog is 'active' again. And, I pray that it will remain active, because of my being able to come here and keep it that way.
I have also started a new blog about healthy eating which is called 'The Diet That Works', where I will be sharing tips about my customized eating plan and recipes for healthy, 'diet' meals. I hope my Bae-sisters here on Blogger will check it out and maybe even leave a comment or two. Now I am going to go and do some 'catching up', here on my Bae-sister's blogs. Until my next posting, please take good care, one and all, and lots of hugs, dears. (Anna)

The Frustrations...
Hi, dear Family.
Ahhh, the frustrations of computer malfunctions, glitches, etc. I call them computer 'blues', even though I don't really think of them that way. Blue is such an awesome color; actually the most gorgeous color in the world, in all its glory of tints and shades.
Computer frustrations are not so very unlike the frustrations of waiting for news of our beloved Charming Prince. Is he or isn't he going to act in the T.V. drama, 'Dream High'? How long must we Family wait to learn this information? If he does decide to star in DH, will the show be as good as his other dramas? These and many other questions are waiting to be answered by the only person in the world who truly knows the answers: Our Charming Prince; Bae Yong-Joon.
So, I guess I'm feeling a little 'blue' right now, waiting for Our BYJ to decide what he wants to do, and wondering whether he will tell us what his plans are, anytime soon. Frustration is the right word, alright. It perfectly describes what I, personally, am feeling right this moment, waiting and wondering...
Love to all Family, everywhere. Anna

Hi, Family.
So sorry I haven't posted in the last couple of days. I have been frantically getting things ready for Christmas. (Almost done, though.) Well, the UN delegation seems to have reached a tentative Summit agreement, Friday. Although there is still a lot of debating going on, as to whether, or not this agreement will be enforced by world leaders. At least Yong Joon-ssi did his part, with his beautiful narration of the Climate Change PSA. We should all be so proud. I know I am. Did everyone get a chance to sign the Global Petition? I signed it as soon as I learned there was a petition. I hope the rest of the family were able to sign it, too. I know our BYJ signed it, too, because I saw his name on the list of signers. My hero! But, then, he was that even before he participated in this whole Global Summit business, just because he is Bae Yong Joon. I don't need any other reason to admire him. Do any of us? Have a great day, BYJ Family everywhere. Love, Anna

A Funny (strange) Thing Happened....
Hi, family.
Not much news happening lately, except Yong Joon's lawsuit, and I really don't feel I should discuss that subject here. It is one thing when we family post pictures and information on our fan sites, in order to inform and encourage each other; it is a completely different thing when a company like that travel agency tries to make money from his name and fame. I think that is just terrible. Enough. I know the family agree with me, and that is enough. Now, the reason why I really started this posting.
A funny (as in strange) thing happened to me a few months ago. I decided to send Yong Joon a little turquoise bracelet for his birthday. So, I took my little gift box to the post office, bought a mailer envelope, and was going to put the box and an un-addressed letter inside the mailer envelope. Well, the silly postman took a big rubber stamp and used it to stamp the word 'spoiled' on the un-adressed letter. I don't know why he did that, but it made me angry. But, since I didn't have another envelope for my letter I had to send it that way, anyway. I am writing about this because it goes to show how a person might have trouble, when something that happened wasn't even that person's fault. I don't know if any of the other family members have ever had a bad experience like that, but if they have I can understand how they might feel. I know I didn't like it one bit. I don't even know if Yonsama even got my gift, but if he did, I hope he liked it, and that he wasn't upset by what the postman put on the envelope. I love him very much and I would never do anything to hurt him in any way. I hope he knows that, too. If I didn't care a great deal, I wouldn't even have this blog site in the first place. I love you, BYJ. Please, continue to be well, and know that you are a special person to all your fans.

Hi, family.
Well, here I am sitting at home on a cold, rainy day off. I think the family who have visited me, here, liked the first poem I posted. So, here is another one. This one was written on a rainy summer day when I was 19. We lived high up on a mountain with a beautiful view of all the surrounding mountains. When it would rain, we could watch the storm approaching across the mountain tops. It was always so thrilling to me, to see that wave of falling water coming closer and closer until we were surrounded by huge, splashing drops. I wrote this poem to express my feelings about that memorable experience. And, since it is a rainy day, I thought my poem would fit in nicely today.

The Storm
Before the storm, when everything is still,
I see the rain descending upon the distant hill.
I feel the gentle breezes on my face,
And see dark clouds surrounding inner space.
I hear the distant thunder's rumbling voice,
Which makes my very heart and soul rejoice.
Then, I see the blinding lightening flash,
And hear the storm clouds meeting with a crash.
And Then, I feel the first few drops of rain,
And I also feel my blood rush through my veins.
And, suddenly, my heart begins to pound,
As the rain in torrents splashes on the ground.
And, as I breathe a sigh of joy, restrained,
I watch the cleansing, pattering, splashing,..rain!
Anna Daugherty
Well, I hope everyone likes it. Actually, I had a bit of inspiration for posting this here, besides the rainy day. I watched Hotelier, again, just recently. I like the part where Shin Dong Yuk and Suh Jin Yeong are at a restaurant and it starts raining. When they are ready to leave, Dong Yuk shares his coat with Jin Yeong. Just the sort of thing I am sure our Handsome Prince would do for a lady. Anyway, I hope everyone is safe and warm and dry wherever you are. Please, enjoy the poem.

Well...hmmm.
Old Books
I love old books; I love their scents,
of huge, old castles with strong, stone walls
and dusty shelves filled with relics
of knights and warriors.
I love old books; I love their pages,
brown with age; stiff and fragile,
falling apart as the castles crumble,
and turn to dust.
Anna Daugherty
Well, I guess it's time to post something new, here. Not that this is exactly new. It was written, some years ago, by an eleven-year-old girl. The inspiration for posting it here isn't new, either. I was surfing the web a few weeks ago, and I came across a video of a CF in which Yong Joon-ssi was smelling the pages of a book. (One of my favorite scents in the world is the smell of old acid paper books. Smells just like dried leaves in autumn. Try it yourself, and see.) Any way, that image in the CF reminded me of this poem, so I decided to post it here for everyone to read and, I hope, enjoy.

Welcome to My Fan Blog
Hi, everyone! Even though this blog is set up primarily for use by American fans (family) of Internationally popular Korean actor and superstar Bae Yong Joon, all family members, worldwide, are welcome to post comments, etc. here. I am new to this, and therefore nervous, so please be patient with me, and I will do my best to be the same with all of you. I have been a BYJ fan since June, 2009. I first saw him in "Winter Sonata" on Youtube, and I was hooked right from the start. Since then, I can't get enough of this amazing, gorgeous actor. Of course, I'm sure that's true for most of his fans (family), otherwise he wouldn't be so popular, would he? Lol. As for the gorgeous part, he has always been that way, as far as I can tell. But, that's not the only reason we love him, now is it? I have read a lot of nice things about this lovely man, in blogs and postings all across the internet. The things which stand out most in all of these are BYJ's gentlemanly attitude and manner, his true appreciation of, and dedication to, all his fans (family) worldwide, and his genuine love for all mankind. Could we, or should we even dare, ask for more? Isn't all of this reason enough to love him as we do? You tell me. That's why I'm here, after all.
