Hi, Family.
I visited The BYJ Official Website, today, and the posts I read there made me feel very sad. I found that our Yong Joon has not posted a personal message to the family there in a long time. A lot of family members were upset because if this. Please, family, do not be sad. We all know that our BYJ is very busy most of the time. He is also still getting better from the time when he was so sick back in September. I believe he would be sad if he knew that we are not happy, because we haven't heard from him. I know he has not meant to hurt us in any way. He would not do that. I think he has just forgotten to keep in touch. Bae Yong Joon, wherever you are, please remember that we all love you, and think of you often. Please be well. We miss you so much when we don't hear from you. If you have a few minutes, please stay in touch, and let us know you are safe. May God keep you safe wherever you are, and Godspeed wherever you go. Love Anna

Hi, Family.
I know I have waited until the last minute, practically, to do this, but I have finally gotten all of my Christmas activities under control. So, here goes. I posted this message for one reason; to wish all of the BaeFamily, everywhere in the world, a Merry Christmas. I hope everyone in the Family, and all of your loved ones have the best Christmas ever. Merry Christmas, Yong Joon-ssi! We love you, and wish you continued good health in the new year. Please, take care of yourself and be happy. Love, Anna

Hi, Family.
So sorry I haven't posted in the last couple of days. I have been frantically getting things ready for Christmas. (Almost done, though.) Well, the UN delegation seems to have reached a tentative Summit agreement, Friday. Although there is still a lot of debating going on, as to whether, or not this agreement will be enforced by world leaders. At least Yong Joon-ssi did his part, with his beautiful narration of the Climate Change PSA. We should all be so proud. I know I am. Did everyone get a chance to sign the Global Petition? I signed it as soon as I learned there was a petition. I hope the rest of the family were able to sign it, too. I know our BYJ signed it, too, because I saw his name on the list of signers. My hero! But, then, he was that even before he participated in this whole Global Summit business, just because he is Bae Yong Joon. I don't need any other reason to admire him. Do any of us? Have a great day, BYJ Family everywhere. Love, Anna

Hi, Family.
I just got two of the nicest birthday presents. First, I found that our Baesister, Hyds, and I share a birthday. (My best to you, again, sister.) And, secondly, we are getting a lot of snow here in Tenneessee, and the mountains are so beautiful! I haven't had as nice a birthday as this in a long time. It hasn't snowed here, on my birthday, since...well, in a very long time. I love it. I guess I could think of it as a birthday gift from God, to Hyds and me. I think I will watch Winter Sonata, some, today as a special treat to myself. May all of our family have as nice a day as I am having. Love, Anna

One Big Family

Hi, Family.
I have read a lot of news articles from Asian newspapers and magazines, and one thing keeps coming to my attention. That is the fact that all of the reporters and/or columnists seem to think that the Bae Yong Joon fan (family) is limited only to Asian countries, or to Asian people who live mostly on the East coast or West coast of The United States. It is true, there are a lot of family members living in those areas or in Asian countries, but Yonsama's family (fan base) is not limited to those family members, alone. We so-called Caucasians love Our Handsome Prince as much as the other members of our family do.  That is why I am grateful for the love which Yong Joon shows to all of us, and for the love and kindness which I have gotten from several of the family here on Blogspot and on Youtube as well. I really appereciate you all for making me feel welcome as a member of the BYJ International family, and I am sorry I didn't tell you all about this sooner. (Actually I am part Native-American and part African-American, and Caucasian as well.) Be well my dear family wherever you all are. Love, Anna

A Funny (strange) Thing Happened....

Hi, family.
Not much news happening lately, except Yong Joon's lawsuit, and I really don't feel I should discuss that subject here. It is one thing when we family post pictures and information on our fan sites, in order to inform and encourage each other; it is a completely different thing when a company like that travel agency tries to make money from his name and fame. I think that is just terrible. Enough. I know the family agree with me, and that is enough. Now, the reason why I really started this posting.
A funny (as in strange) thing happened to me a few months ago. I decided to send Yong Joon a little turquoise bracelet for his birthday. So, I took my little gift box to the post office, bought a mailer envelope, and was going to put the box and an un-addressed letter inside the mailer envelope. Well, the silly postman took a big rubber stamp and used it to stamp the word 'spoiled' on the un-adressed letter. I don't know why he did that, but it made me angry. But, since I didn't have another envelope for my letter I had to send it that way, anyway. I am writing about this because it goes to show how a person might have trouble, when something that happened wasn't even that person's fault. I don't know if any of the other family members have ever had a bad experience like that, but if they have I can understand how they might feel. I know I didn't like it one bit. I don't even know if Yonsama even got my gift, but if he did, I hope he liked it, and that he wasn't upset by what the postman put on the envelope. I love him very much and I would never do anything to hurt him in any way. I hope he knows that, too. If I didn't care a great deal, I wouldn't even have this blog site in the first place. I love you, BYJ. Please, continue to be well, and know that you are a special person to all your fans.

Hi, family.
This posting is mainly for the American Bae family members. Please, remember Pearl Harbor Day. And, everyone in the family, please pray for Yong Joon-ssi, and everyone involved in the UN Climate Change Summit. And pray for our planet, that these world officials can reach an agreement during their negotiations in Copenhagen. The whole human race and our world depend on it. Thank you all, family everywhere. UN Global Summit: Bae Yong Joon's Part In It

I am about to go off topic slightly, but only slightly, with this posting. Well, here we are on the eve of the UN climate summit. I think it is fitting that the officials chose Pearl Harbor Day as the day to open the summit. Everyone knows the significance of this day to both American and Japanese people. But, how far we have come in the 58 years since the events of that day took place. And, thanks to the love and strong character of our Yong Joon-ssi, people from Asia, Europe, North and South America have become bonded together to form a global family whose care and concern for each other would have been a near impossibility even 50 years ago. I think it is especially appropriate that his voice will serve to introduce the summit delegates to the issues at stake regarding global warming. Once again, he will fill the gap, so to speak, in an effort to unite the people of the world in this great and necessary cause. My prayers are with him as he speaks to the world tomorrow. God keep, Yonsama, wherever you are, and Godspeed wherever you go.

Hi, family.
Well, here I am sitting at home on a cold, rainy day off. I think the family who have visited me, here, liked the first poem I posted. So, here is another one. This one was written on a rainy summer day when I was 19. We lived high up on a mountain with a beautiful view of all the surrounding mountains. When it would rain, we could watch the storm approaching across the mountain tops. It was always so thrilling to me, to see that wave of falling water coming closer and closer until we were surrounded by huge, splashing drops. I wrote this poem to express my feelings about that memorable experience. And, since it is a rainy day, I thought my poem would fit in nicely today.

The Storm
Before the storm, when everything is still,
I see the rain descending upon the distant hill.
I feel the gentle breezes on my face,
And see dark clouds surrounding inner space.
I hear the distant thunder's rumbling voice,
Which makes my very heart and soul rejoice.
Then, I see the blinding lightening flash,
And hear the storm clouds meeting with a crash.
And Then, I feel the first few drops of rain,
And I also feel my blood rush through my veins.
And, suddenly, my heart begins to pound,
As the rain in torrents splashes on the ground.
And, as I breathe a sigh of joy, restrained,
I watch the cleansing, pattering, splashing,..rain!

Well, I hope everyone likes it. Actually, I had a bit of inspiration for posting this here, besides the rainy day. I watched Hotelier, again, just recently. I like the part where Shin Dong Yuk and Suh Jin Yeong are at a restaurant and it starts raining. When they are ready to leave, Dong Yuk shares his coat with Jin Yeong. Just the sort of thing I am sure our Handsome Prince would do for a lady. Anyway, I hope everyone is safe and warm and dry wherever you are. Please, enjoy the poem.
